In connection with the COVID-19 outbreak, CMS Imaging continues to implement necessary
precautionary measures and protocols based on the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
recommendations, state epidemiology resources, and the local health departments in our areas
of operations.
To ensure the safety of our team members and their families, CMS
Imaging continues to offer all office-based employees the option of working from home. All
departments will continue operations as usual. Our Service Department continues to process
and dispatch service requests for essential equipment repair.
Our Field Service
Engineers will comply with all guidelines of the CDC and individual healthcare facilities as
mandated. If a facility prohibits non-essential access and requires on-site maintenance, we
require formal communications stating that the repair is essential. We ask that each
facility inform our Customer Support Team of any changes to that facility's protocol for
entering the facility during the service request. Healthcare facilities must provide our
engineers with the same level of personal protection that they provide to their personnel.
We ask that, if possible, the equipment to be repaired be moved to a non-patient area.
Please clear rooms of all patients and staff in the case of stationary rooms. Upon
completion of the repair, our engineers will disinfect the equipment, and we urge all
facilities to do the same.
CMS Imaging is proud to stand by our healthcare partners during this global
pandemic. Together we can all assist in lessening the impact of this pandemic upon
ourselves, our friends, and our neighbors.
The CMS Imaging, Inc. Executive Team will
continue to assess the recommendations of the CDC, state epidemiology resources, and the
local health departments. Any changes to this statement will be made public promptly and
posted on our website.
