Backed by the proven technologies of the ProSound series which are reputed for excellent image quality, the ProSound 6 supports high-level echo examination and image quality that sets a new standard in its class.
The system is slim enough for use in a limited space, such as an outpatient consulting room, examination room, bedside in the ward, and operating theater.
Full-digital System with Priority on Image Quality
Inheriting the technologies used in the higher models of the ProSound series, ALOKA designed the ProSound 6 with top priority on image quality, with no compromise despite its compact size. The ergonomic design and simple operation of the ProSound 6 assist efficient examinations.
High-performance LCD Monitor
The characteristics of the high-quality LCD monitor are adjusted to optimize diagnostic viewing of ultrasound images.
Extended Pure Harmonic Detection (ExPHD™)
Harmonic Echo using phase shift is equipped as standard, which has been available only on higher models. Multiple echoes and side lobes are greatly reduced for clear and easy-to-observe images, enhancing patient throughput.
Mounted with Edge Enhancement Function (AIP)
The Edge Enhancement function mounted also on higher models of the ProSound series is equipped as standard. Intima images are enhanced for greater clarity; in musculoskeletal imaging, the periphery of the tissue is enhanced for clearer observation; and in breast imaging, lesions are finely depicted.

Accepts Wideband Super High Density (W-SHD) probes as used in the higher models. The system can be applied to a wide variety of fields including biopsy using a micro convex sector probe.

By packing Broadband Harmonics™, high-quality imaging with high-performance HST probes, various analysis functions peculiar to ultrasound, and Real-time 3D (4D) into the smallest console in its class, the ProSound A7 enables examinations that rival those of our high-end systems.

Broadband Harmonics™
Harmonic imaging by Broadband Harmonics™ technology delivers sensitivity and resolution comparable to those of fundamental imaging. In addition to reducing side lobes and multiple echoes, more detailed image information and much higher penetration in deeper areas are achieved.
Directional eFLOW™ (D- eFLOW) Compared with conventional blood flow display methods, D-eFLOW™ features enhanced spatial and time resolutions for greater detail. It is possible to display even narrow and slow flows in fingers and also fast flows in thick vessels like arteries without overlapping tissue images in high sensitivity. By assigning separate colors to flows moving toward and away from the transducer, it is possible to separately display narrow flows traveling in parallel.
Free Angular M-Mode (FAM) Three M-Mode cursors can be set at any position and angle simultaneously, thus eliminating the complications involved with conventional ultrasound systems in getting accurate measurements. Wall motion at different positions can be compared simultaneously, making it possible to accurately identify the region of delayed sysole.

eTRACKING™ assists the evaluation of early atherosclerosis as preventive medicine. Advanced functions including 3D Automated Volume Measurement and comprehensive cardiovascular analysis are available.
