CMS Imaging offers a unique opportunity for your healthcare facility to provide ASRT approved category A continuing education credits for your staff. Our Lunch and Learn presentations are offered at no charge to prospective and existing CMS customers. We provide your healthcare facility with lunch and an informative presentation, and attendees receive ASRT approved continuing education credits.

“DR – It’s Magic” Lunch & Learn live lecture
This lecture is designed to give Technologist an introduction to digital radiography.
Contents include:
• DR Advantages: Cost reduction, shortened exam times, better image quality with fewer repeated exams and reduces the amount of physical work required by the Technologist.
• DR Improved Workflow: Shortens exam times and eliminates the need for the Technologist to return to the floors for repeat exams.
• DR Technology: Information on the differences between detector composition and the effect it has on patient dose.
• DR benefits: Achieve everyone’s goal - improved patient care.
CEU Credits: Approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist for 1 category A CEU and by Florida DOH – Bureau of Radiation Control for 1 credit

PACS: Basic Radiology Workflow
This session provides a basic overview of the digital radiology workflow used in PACS. The target audience for this presentation is Radiologic Technologists and any personnel that can benefit from learning terminology used in PACS and to help them understand PACS workflow from the time a patient's exam is ordered until the report is returned to the ordering physician.
